New research released by Eastern Management Group has found that Unified-Communications-as-a-Service will account for 50% of PBX seats by 2022.  In a survey of 4,000 IT managers of businesses with 300 employees or more, Hosted PBX was by far the fastest-growing communications solution being adopted.


In 2010, Hosted PBX seats accounted for only 4% of PBX seats to the current number of 28% Eastern Management Group predicts that the growth will continue to include 30% new growth by 2020, giving the majority of seats to the cloud solution.
